There are several reasons your washing machine may not turn on. It could be a minor, easy problem to fix such as an unplugged power cord or a tripped circuit breaker; or a faulty outlet. These are things you can check and possibly fix yourself by plugging the cord back in and/or resetting the circuit breaker. More complicated issues include things like a tripped, off-balance switch; a problem with the timer/control board; or an electrical issue with your outlet. For these, you’ll need to call a professional service like ours.
I would check to see if you have too many clothes in the load. When you overfill the washing machine with clothes, it can’t spin or agitate properly, so you’ll have to take some clothes out and/or adjust the washing machine. Alternatively, there could be a problem with the lid switch, lid plunger, damaged wires, a broken or overused drive belt, or a bad motor.
